Derived from purified DNA fragments (typically sourced from salmon or trout sperm), polynucleotides are injected into the skin where they act as a bio stimulatory scaffold. They work by activating fibroblasts to increase collagen and elastin production, while also improving hydration, tissue elasticity and antioxidant activity at a cellular level.
Polynucleotides have strong water-binding and anti-inflammatory properties, making them particularly effective for thin, fragile or sun-damaged skin — notably the under-eye area. A course of 2–4 sessions, spaced 2–3 weeks apart, is typically recommended, with regenerative effects continuing to build over the following months.
